Views on the supercharged exhaust

Will soon be collecting the supercharged RRS and the one thing ive not really pad much attention to is the exhaust note

Coming from a 996 with the sports exhaust, and while I know its never going to be the same, wondering what can be done to maybe 'spice' it up a little

Are the usual suspects recomended (fabspeed etc) or is there a RRS specialist perhaps?

Or do I leave it stock?

Was it a big difference sound wise? Could I enquire as to the rough cost?

He's right = awsome sound ............. just like a TVR Bow down

The JE system is slightly more audible than the stock stuff - but for ultimate sound - you need to listen to Misery's Thumbs Up

Your best bet is to pick up the phone and speak to JE Engineering. They are easy to get to - right next to Coventry airport.

They now have a FULL system - and not just the back section I had fitted.

Jay your a Censored Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter but true and well worth every Dolla Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

bermyandy no my system wasn't that pricey cheaper than any of the other out there I think. Only thing I can say is you must hear it, before you go anywhere else.

ps there was no cutting involved we remove the exhaust right behind the cats, so any problems you just bolt the OE one back on, no worries with the warranty. Thumbs Up

Bermyandy

I know the sound of the switchable sports exhaust on the 911 well. I have also heard Misery's car take off up the road. Other than Misery's being the sound of a V8 instead of a boxer flat 6, and that it is not switchable to quiet mode, it is audibly as impressive as the 911 sports exhaust. The JE one can be heard on You-Tube or, I think, on JE's website and is not far behind Misery's custom made system.
