I know there are two weights either side of the exhaust it may just be the knocking when you break hard?? RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

You are dead right, it feels like slack in the drivetrain somewhere. After you slow down to a crawling pace then try to accelerate away again you get a "clonk". I had it in my TDV6 and now i have it on my SC. !st Edition RRS S/C, Black on Black.

It maybe the damping weights that hang from the rear of your car - these effectively hang "loose" and are liable to a slight bang if there's a swift change in momentum of your car. At least that's what it could be... |

I had this on my TDV6. Diagnosed it by rocking the car from outside. Only happened on one side.
