My last one was serviced at an S dealer and there was no mention of the aircon being serviced. Mind you I wasn't paying so perhaps they knew the con wouldn't work. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

AC wont need servicing for the first few years - it may need 'checking' for damage, leaks etc however does not need servicing as part of a maintenance program

And as far as I know there is nothing to drain, it drains all the time and they won't drain the gas itself Rolling Eyes

All they will do is put a can of air con cleaner through the system, something you can do yourself for £10 in 5 minutes

First I've heard of it... surely the "first service" is a standard set of actions pre-described by LR? Confused

Mrs S's FL is also due a service and it amazes me that it has always been more expensive to service her car than when I had the RRS. I could get the RRS serviced for £320, yet the same dealer would quote nearly £500 for the FL Shocked Time to get on the phone again.

£320 seams to be about the standard first service price but some owners on Disco3 have posted paying just over half that at LR dealers Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Got mine monday with 12 k on the clock, rang stratstone bushbury, wolverhampton and was quoted an 'all-inclusive' price of £330 for the 15,000 mile service.

What the f**k do they do for £330!

First service on my BMW was £140 Best Wishes

Gary
