Does anyone know of a hire firm that will hire me a 4 seat convertible?

All the usual are booked up! If you dont live on the EDGE, you are taking up too much space!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is.... bunch of idiots. They have no clue of the disruption they will cause... all in the interests of the environment. If you are travelling through Heathrow, hopefully your journey won't be too badly impacted.
