Water in indicator lenses

Like many on this site I invested in the white indicator lenses from ebay. I have since noticed that I get water in them. This may have happened with the orange ones but maybe I didnt notice.

Is anybody else encountering this. If so any tips on how to stop it.

Should I ask for another set?

Not sure sealent is a good idea in case bulb needs replacing. TDV6 - gone

I think its a problem with where the clear inicator joins the plastic bit at the back. I will try some sealant around there. The seal where the bulb goes in looks good as it has a rubber washer.

Shouldn't have to though should you for £40 - or £20 come to that - fitness for purpose...

Full lens warm bulb (eventually?) pop goes bulb... If LR had delivered it it'd be back to the stealer...?

The old problem with self-mods though... the vendor of the part can always just say they've not been fitted properly, if he's that way inclined.
