I had that problem. They replaced the cassette behind the steering wheel which did not fix the prob. It ended up being a bush in the steering rack which when replaced sorted the problem. Just remember to ask for the upgraded steering rack otherwise you will get the steering vibration problem. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

This is a problem on our Sport.

When it went in for service a month or so ago the service guy(Australian Cypriot) said that there is some kind of connecter ring behind the steering wheel that links the steering wheel controls to the car and that this is a common fault, but will not go wrong...... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

I've had the steering rack replaced as per the above bulletin.
No more squeaks and the steering feels tight and very responsive. Thumbs Up Malaysia Boleh!

Question

Have I missed something guys ??

Upgraded steering rack ??

I ask this as I have some vibration in my steering, which has just got a whole lot worse since I fitted the Stormers during the week. I've had quite the saga with fitting the Stormers on "Rupert" but that's well covered in another thread.

Off to do a search now for steering rack issues Smile
