The pure arrogance of this numptie gov't!!

Well, after all the who-harr over how many people visited the No10 petition website a few months ago (and let's face it, it was quite an impressive turn out)....for the UK anyway, 1.8 million of us told Tony and Co (ex-Top of the Pops, perhaps) Question that road pricing was unfair, bla, bla, bla.

He (or at least a monkey) responded with the usual fluffiness of "don't worry, we are only investigating at the moment", meaning expect it to become compulsory in the next few years you suckers! A personal note from Tone to make you feel assured that this was all years and years ahead. Rolling Eyes

Further into the future perhaps, but nice to see that, for once, people are starting to see the realisms and real agenda of this third rate government.

A wise person decided to do a similar awareness raising exercise, but this time regarding 'here and now' taxation relating to fuel duty. Well, let's face it, Gordon fleeces each and every one of us each and every time we fill up. Big Cry

This is the "official" response for all you politics followers out there and fresh from my Inbox.

In classic Catherine Tate stylee...WALOOS (Gran). Both the misguiding Stern Review and Eddington Study make an appearance....which for anyone who has read these fabled reports will know, it spells very bad news for the motorist...especially us LR drivers, all the "reports" are based on Co2 emissions Big Cry

All rather depressing really...but just thought I would spread the depressing news and all at no extra charge! Whistle

Anyone up for starting a 4x4 party?? Question We could even put some policies in place that work (that would surely be a 1st).

Whine over. Shocked
