Confirms that hybrids are hype ?

imho, hybrids are a great idea - its been pretty incredible that such cars were actually produced and introduced to the market - its just a shame that politicians and the press have hyped them up to much

And Toyota has been prepared to sacrifce profits to subsidise their various hybrid products to such a huge extent. If I were a Toyota shareholder I would certainly be asking some questions about the actual cost of production versus the sticker price of these cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Lies, damn lies, and, government statistics.
My MG on a run gets from 7mpg to 29mpg depending how it's driven.
Govt figures say Urban 17mpg extra urban 27mpg and a combined 21mpg

They are hype. They emit just as much as frugal small cars, think new Mini, Panda etc. The mini etc does not have an as energy intensive build either - nor as bad a recycling outlook - think batteries etc.

CAR Magazine has a great article on unsung green heros that include the above and BMW 1 Series auto stop/start in traffic etc etc. 2022 P440e AB

That was Brian or one of the family, Paul or Claire, funny I have a little Dreadnought sticker on the back of my ZT Whistle
I have driven the ZT400 and it is so docile until you plant your right foot into the carpet...
Brian has a supercharged RR tho an older one that he uses as a tug for towing.

Handed my Supercharged over to JE Engineering last year for a couple of weeks for them to use a Bench test against their developed version - QUOTE - "Martin, yours must be one of the better ones to have left the factory - either that, or our tweeked version has not really gained much power"

Should hear it on the over-run poping and banging, mine has the 75mm throttle body and through flow exhaust system on it nad it realy makes a diffrence to the response, the car as standard (68mm TB) is really restricted and drops off at 5000 rpm while mine is still trying to scream its way past the 6,000 rpm red line.
On a diffrent note... spoke with the dealer today and he has a slot for my new RRS TDV8 next week Yippeee!
