Ford's finances must be a lot worse than I imagined if they are having to sell off their 2 most profitable subsidiaries.

So Alchemy have denied they are interested.............................. lord help us, that means they are well down the road to another MG/Rover fiasco. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Maybe that's the point.
PAG is saleable because it's profitable.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

PAG being profitable is one of the reasons Ford are not looking to offload at the moment.

After all, there are not many areas of the Ford empire returning a profit at the moment, why would they want to offload one of the areas that are? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Would have to stop all the employee discounts too...................................
When I worked in Japan at the Mitsubishi shipyard for a while you could only park a car in the employees car park if it was a Mitsubishi, no other marques were allowed to be seen on company owned property! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
