smaller key available?

I am still waiting for my TDV8 delivery, but
I have another question in advance. Do you
know, if there is a smaller car key than this big
and heavy rectangular remote-control key?

Especially when it comes to wearing linen
trousers in summer such fat keys
can be really annoying.

I hope my problem is not too Dandy-like
for you. Wink

Greets from sunny munich,
Christian I will get my RRS SC 5.0 approximately in nov 2013.

Yeah, but you can go scuba diving with it, and it'll still work when you resurface. Try that with those poseur Mercedes keys! Wink

Do you really believe that Umberto............... when I go windsurfing I still use a small watertight cache that has a neck tie and slides inside my wetsuit. I'm not going to be the one to find they are not as watertight as they are claimed to be! There are a lot of easily drowned electronics in that little box! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

...and when I go skydiving, my BMW remote-control works
from such a height that I easily can land through
the huge sunroof directly on the driver`s seat. Very Happy I will get my RRS SC 5.0 approximately in nov 2013.

Well the RRS one is the same as the BMW except it recharges the internal battery while the key is in the ignition as drive. So if you have specced a sunroof there should be no change there then Munich Rolling with laughter 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Up to 82 feet! Only a deep wreck dive can stop this friggin' brick from operating. Cool

Just out of curiosity I was in the BM garage with a friend the other day and they plugged his key into this little box. Just dropped it in. From the Key they could tell what services need doing on it, how many miles the car has, when it was last serviced and if there are any erraneous messages (e.g. Washer Fluid Low)

Does the RRS key have this ability? Michael Potter
