TDV8 Test Drive

Very impressive.

Doesn't feel its size, until you come to park it, apart from perhaps a little under braking. Handles and performs exceptionally well, and feels really quite "car" like, apart from better visibility.

Sat nav doesn't seem very well sited for either usage or viewing, but I guess that's something to get used to.

I felt there was a bit more road noise that I would have like, but it was wet, so I'll forgive that. Normally I'd be playing music anyway.

Dealer going to get some part-exchange figures for my S4, but I could be joining the fold soon!

How did the diesal engine sound when you drove it and then got out and stood next to it, was quiet and did the engine feel smooth when you drove it

It sounded damn good on the move, especially under load. I'm used to V8 petrol in my S4, and it was almost as good Wink

I didn't really listen too hard at standstill, although I was stood outside the car whilst the engine was running. I didn't notice it, so it wasn't tractor-like.
