Photo Printer Recommendations

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a pretty good stand alone photo printer.

I need a reasonably compact printer with a built in media card reader, that I can simply pop in a CF card or Memory Stick, select the photo/s that I want on a little screen & print out on standard 6x4 photo paper.

I’m sure such a device exists & am about to embark on some research, but thought I ask here first in the hope of being pointed in the right direction.

I figured as much !

I've been looking at the Epsom Photosmart, but it looks rather large & more "Desktop" than compact.

It's not a standalone (although can operate as one) but I have an HP Photosmart 8450.

These are discontinued, though you can still buy one if you look around. The quality is excellent, printing is fast and it has all the MMC slots you can shake a stick at.

Thanks shmoogle

I’m hoping though to find something more compact & portable, rather than desktop. As I’d like to be able to print 6x4 photos on location.

I’ll continue my research Smile
