Finally a new ECU has arrived... more importantly a new proceedure from Land Rover for firmwaring and coding. According to the dealer this a "flash" service update to resolve the ecu issues

Mine went in on the 4 Dec 2006 and I got it back on 19 Jan 2007 = 46 days. New Diff, hubs, prop shafts, transmission, torque convertor and friont wheels!

It's been in for warranty work for 28% of the time I owned it in the first year.

It still has, driveline whine between 75-100km/h, rasping in gearbox

.....but apart from that it's ah, kind of fine!

Definitely go for the free servicing, I did and got it + 3 months extra warranty + extended 1 year RS Assistance. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof
