My 5 has failed to start once after going away on holiday and coming back after 6 weeks to find a dead battery Sad I had to push it out the garage and it was also Censored heavy. 525 Touring. No problem opening the doors as the hinge upwards, but even so would you want to climb over the bodywork because there cannot have been enough space to walk down the sides. It would also have been interesting to know if he got the car back out of the garage without damage - even with good rear visblity it would be difficult with the small a gap but in a car with almost no rear visibility it must have been a nightmare.

According to the dimensions in the owners manual my RRS with the mirrors folded will fit through my garage door................. with 3mm each side I haven't yet attempted it, my Defender should go through the door with loads of space to spare, but then the height isn't enough by 30mm and I don't fancy letting the air out of the tyres and then pumping them up again once I get it out. So they have to sit out in the cold and wet and I have a garage full of junk instead 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
