2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

is it worth...........

having my rr sport colour coded ie the bumpers and sides and back pillar a man as offered to do it and assures me it wont peel off is that true ? has anyone had it done ? ........cheers

Ive had my Side vents and front grill done by a mate and he said to me that i can jet wash it but don't get to close so i can't see it just peeling off on it's jack jones if it's a good job RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

IMHO - do not colour code the side pilars, the whole look of the car is ruined. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey

The original essence of the Range Rover's styling was the 'floating roof' design, this has carried through to the Sport, colour coding the pillars makes the car look boxy. Not a good move I would say.

I had my wing mirrors done but all the cars I have seen where more colour coding has been done look poor. L319 D4 HSE

Don't colour code the A, B, C or D posts, you will ruin the whole look of the RRS. As mentioned in previous posts, the RRS is designed with a "floating roof", colour coding the roof supports is not a good idea. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

BUT, if it is a Java RRS will it make any difference if you have glossy black posts rather than matt black?
I've seen at least 3 silver S/C's (2 were 1st editions too) with full colour coding and it really doesn't look nice on them. I think there may even be a photo of one in my gallerys 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Saw a Java Sport in Limassol yesterday with full black colour coded grille.

Was having lunch in a restaurant at the time so fumbled with my phone camera.

Will upload later and see if it is any good.......

Looked ok, Mrs ST liked it more than I did. Still prefer the S/C grille......IMHO Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
