LR customer services should supply you with a decent car, they can if they try!
I know a guy at the local Enterprise car rental, they have various LR's that are strictly kept for this kind of thing.

As you say tell them you will send them a big bill for car hire, I am sure they will sort something then.

They gave me a Disco 3 LS. Was very good no problems with it apart from no sat nav

Kaine - its the dynamice response ECU - not the engine ECU so I think our TDV8's seem ok

I got 24.9 MPG going to Leamington Spa last week doing 70-90's with the odd 120 thrown in

I love Dynamic Response faults - just great.

I got a Disco 3 from Enterprise last time but Jags every time before.

doc your right, it was the dr ecu - part has arrived today, which means I can send back this Jag S-type 3.0
