Doc

Sorry to complicate things but this particular make comes in either a 0 ppm or 30 ppm filtration capacity - both the same price.

Obviously the 30 ppm lasts longer than the 0 ppm - particularly in hard water areas down in the southern part of the country. 30 ppm is OK for soft water areas but may leave marks on the car in hard water areas.

Which one is being offered, or can we chose individually Question Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

I think the theory in very hard water areas is to go for bot a 30 and a 0 put them inline and then they all last longer, might be worth asking that Doc.

You can have either!

How hard is your water?

What colour is your car?

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The water up here is very soft, but Scottish Water have taken to adding things to it now and every time I turn on the tap instead of a slight tinge from the peat that it always used to have I now get a blast of Chlorine followed by "clear" boring water! So I'll have one of the softer water systems please.
I assume they come with standard "Hozelock" type fittings..................................

As an aside - if any of you buy Waitrose own label "Scottish Spring" water (not whisky Laughing Laughing ) it all comes from the same loch in the hills above my house that my own domestic water supply comes from for free so I suppose that I could say that my cars get washed with Waitrose bottled water that costs something like £1 a litre!! Reminds me of that Fools and Horses episode with the "Peckham Spring" water that came out of their tap Wink

Or even Coca Cola's Daesano Water.......................... "natural spring water" that came out of a tap somewhere just off the banks of the Thames I believe and thus passed by the general public 2-3 times before being bottled!! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes, they come with hozelock type connectors.

You will need a "0" filter for your black car but a "30" or "0" will do for the white one Thumbs Up

Car is drying as I type!

Can the ionic effect be switched off (i.e. so I don't waste it when I use a power hose etc / don't have to disconnect it every time I don't need it?) 2022 P440e AB
