been reading posts about oil and there seems to be some disparity between engine oil choice and grade. I need a top up of oil and would be interetsed to know what brand and type people recommend? New RRS

Castrol GTX magnatec 5w / 30, is definately the correct oil for the TDV6. ( Does it not say the grade on your oil filler cap?). Halfrauds at £25 odd for 4.5 litres (was £21 odd on offer a while back) is probably the most economic way of buying it,(unless you are in the trade) or dealer will sell you a litre for £6 or £7ish.

F I L L E R C A P has all you need to know but its hard to find to oil

Magnatec is the stuff - I was given a "free" litre and oil check kit at the service last week. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
