Given the amount of soot in my intake only after cleaning it 5k miles ago, I am leaning towards blanking the EGR on my 3.0 RRS but keeping the DPF. A lot of people say it is possible but haven't seen any actually doing it. if the tune is right there shouldn't be a problem with the DPF.


Also I think it could be done only through the ECU without blanking plates?

Anyone who has done the mod and can share details? Thanks.
