bit of a strange one, ive been looking at a 65 plate svr, all looks good with the car, does what it should etc, issue ive had is when ive started doing the car checks,all looks good,no nasties popping up, all service history ok no issues etc except!
some results say its an svr some say its an autobigraphy dynamic 5.0sc.
Now V5 sys its the latter but ive had vin decoded and that says its a Svr, 550 engine etc.
I spoke to the customer care team at JLR and they said it was quite common for dealers to register the wrong models, they even said theyll send me a letter to confirm to dvla the correct model, but surely a previous owner would have had it sorted.
Does it all sound odd or am i overthinking it all

yes its a manual system, and depends what the dealer types in!
or that's how it used to be.
