Not sure this is much help, but the parts diagram still shows it in the boot area in a different casing to the normal unit.

That's fantastic, Thank you so much, as you said it still shows inside the boot, just trying to figure out if under the battery tray is the compressor as seen in the photo. but its a start and ill see if I can rummage around and get back to you all.. Thanks again..... |

So after getting help pointing me in the right direction by 2RRS, I found the compressor under the 12v main Battery, however, the battery tray is bolted down on top of the compressor tray, and unfortunately I cannot remove one bolt as it is right under the EV battery and I would have to remove it to gain access, I have taken a few photos and hope fully they will load up this time (Thank you Jimbg) still trying to figure out this site. Thanks for all the help, Off to the stealers I go .............. |

Nice bit of engineering! Can you not loosen the 48v battery enough to raise it to access the battery tray / compressor housing? |

The car is under a Autocrat warranty, and as it was a two week wait until they get it in, I wanted to see if I could check all the usuals, Connections, exhaust and intake just incase it was a simple fix, I would be worried about the battery coolant system getting messed up, so I'll just wait out and let the techie shock him self,, |

I don't think he'll be worried about 48v, but if you've got a warranty I guess it's best to go through the motions of claiming on the warranty rather than messing something up.

Yes its a strange one to go so soon, you can hear the compressor running, then ping of doom, "air suspension fault and forward alert not available after 50Mph" it does not have the Veh Orange light as with my D3, it has Information big I, the system holds pressure, Gap tool has 3 faults . Cambus, Suspension and Forward alert , clear all them and the compressor will kick in and we go back round in a loop again ??? |

I'd say you've diagnosed that correctly, what's the suspension dtc that the IID is giving, will that give you any guidance. |
