Best place to buy a replacement fuel tank cradle?

Hi All,

It’s just been MOT time which annoyingly the Sport failed due to the O/S/F wheel bearing. I also had a couple of advisories 1) N/S/F drop link and 2) Corroded fuel tank cradle.

I have since purchased a wheel bearing kit and drop link which have now been fitted. I wasn’t going to bother with the cradle but after getting under the car and having a look at the state of it, I think I have changed my mind.

Any recommendations on where to get a replacement from please? Happy with an aftermarket one - are they all the same or varying qualities?

Thanks!

I see these guy's offer a replacement aftermarket galvanized one for £180.00 inc.vat. Wouldn't know if they have them in stock or quality though.

Thanks Col - I have ordered one of those up! Fingers crossed when it comes to installing it though.

Thumbs Up Do post view on quality etc. when received and fitted as may give others a bit of a head's up if needed, as seems a pretty common failure now with age etc.
