United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
Random ABS activation. 2007 L320

So, I have just bought the car, after it has barely moved over the last year, not sure if that is relevant or not but the previous owner said he didn't have this problem.

When you start the car no warning lights, drive off and stay below 30mph for 500 yards and the warning lights in the attached photo come on and the car drives fine.
Drive off quickly and it feels like the F/O/S ABS kickes in pulling the car to the right. Then a few seconds later the lights come on and it drives fine.
I have replaced the 4 ABS sensors and rings.
It has a new brake switch and I’m going to look at the steering angle sensor this afternoon.

Anyone else had anything similar?

Don't ask me why it keeps uploading the picture upside down.
Thanks, John

History.
She's a 2007 3.6tdv8 HSE with 107k miles on the clock.
It has been well looked after over the years with almost full service history with main dealer and local specialist.

I will try this afternoon but I'm sure my son said there wasn't any last time he looked.
We have JLR SDD on a laptop.

I'm fairly new to these modern fangled cars, wife has a Discovery 3 and my Defender doesn't even have wind up windows.
Anyway, I have found code C1B00:64

Still don't know why my pictures load upside down.šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

This site does not look at the orientation info in the metadata of the photo, so if the phone is upside down then it will appear that way. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Thanks, that was what I was thinking, either that or the sensor has come loose and needs to be stuck back in place.

Thank you for your time and advice. I have seen you helping many people over on Disco3 forum, it's always great to have knowledgeable people like yourself helping us dinosaurs. 😁
