2018 Sport TDV6 SE IIDTool G4 Front Axle Won’t Lower

Hi all,

I have a 2018 Sport TDV6 SE and a IIDTool G4 from GAP, and previously had it working amazingly on my 2014 HSE SDV6 Sport, was able to lower both the rear and front down to 30mm, and after getting the wheels aligned the car drove beautifully, everything responded on that car to the GAP Tool functions.

I have updated the tool to the latest version, and despite this, the heigh function setting on the gap tool refuses to work on my 2018 TDV6 SE Sport. The rear axle values will go down in to “-“, but the front axle refuses to go beyond “0”, it will go in to +, so a higher height, but not lower whatsoever, what on earth is going on? Access heigh works, I can manually use the tool to lower the car to bump stops and access height etc, but this front axle when manually wanting to lower it and using the “chain” function to either make all lower at the same time, the rear will only lower, the front remains on “0”, even applying changes to the rear, the front will remain in its same position, clearly from viewing it outside the car once the changes have been saved.

Anybody else has this issue? I haven’t received a response from the GAP Tech yet as they’re short on staff. Would really appreciate some insight!

I’ll add a photo by the way of what I mean, the front axle refuses to respond to the down arrow and input a lower value, the rear works however. This issue never happened on my 2014 HSE.
