hi all my 2014 range rover sport autobiography l494 was being programmed with sdd computer battery being maintained whilst programmed for new reverse sensors (changed rear end to svr ) halfway through it crashed leaving my car dead nothing no ignition or any thing steering lock on in park and handbrake on and to had to it it was in my garage so i called out the AA got one of there (SUPER MECHANICS) that can diagnose with out plugging it in (it will be the bcm) well to get on he tested it and told me it was the gateway module that was locked and it would need to be recovered to land rover at a cost to me of between £1500 to £3000 because they would need a robot to get it out of my garage forget that so i got it to Sytner LR myself on a trailer where i dropped it in there compound due to no handbrake or able to lock it security conscious

Not that it will help now, but were you using a Mongoose vci with SDD, if so there's a known problem with them when programming. Original Mongoose leads have not been available for years and the ones now are all Chinese clones and are known to drop out mid way through loading. Best to use the genuine LR Vci.
