2018 Facelift suspension changes

I am looking to buy either RRS 2017 pre facelift or 2018 post facelift model. Tested 3.0 D examples of both recently and the post facelift 2018 was considerably both more comfortable and more dynamic to drive.
Quite shocked at the difference and asking if anyone can confirm if facelift models do indeed have different suspension.

Any one else experience both?

Certainly my 2o14 example that I owned briefly felt completely different to the 2018 tested yesterday.

Just want to confirm so I know which model to buy.

Any help appreciated
Thanks Simon

I think that there was a change in the adaptive dynamics system (it went to version 2 for 2018) which controls the dampers, etc. Works at 500Hz so it's doing a lot of work to keep things under control. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
