Is anyone else having the problem, whereby the Pivi Pro does not read out new messages or new WhatsApp messages. It simply says would you like to reply, even though it's not read out the message itself. I tried rebooting the iPhone and it seemed to work but the next time I got in the car it had the same problem. Anyone else found it ?

I’ve previously solved issues like this by breaking the pairing between car and phone, the re-pairing.

Software updates on the phone tend to screw things up.

Sometimes a reboot on the phone before the re-pairing helps too.

Hi Rowdie, This is apparently a wide spread issue with WhatsApp following a recent update and we will presumably have to wait for a patch to resolve the issue. I know several people experiencing the exact same problems with various different makes of vehicle.

Quick update on the WhatsApp / Apple CarPlay issue, this should now be resolved. Hope everybody is back to normal.
