I'm about to fit a second battery and HF and VHF/UHF radios to my 2010 RRS, and want to put the (slimline Lithium) battery, the DC-DC charger, and the based unit for the HF radio under the rear floor in the boot (Where the jack and stuff was), and the VHF/UHF will go under the seats, so no issues there.

Was wondering if there is any "plan" out there on where is safe to drill, as trying to see underneath and guess where that is on top seems a little hit and miss.

Radio and DC-DC charger can go anywhere, battery only just fits in that one spot!!

I'll probably pop rivnuts in and use bolts just long enough to hold the HF radio bracket, and some ally brackets I'll make up to hold the battery and also be high enough to stop the boot floor pressing on it.

I thought this would be a FAQ but can't find anything with any searches I've tried.
