United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sumatra Black
Range Rover Sport 2010 Supercharded 5.0L V8 Rear ACE leaking

Dear all,

I own a Range Rover Sport 2010 Supercharged 5.0L V8 since 2022 (I am the 3rd owner).
I bought the car with a slight leak on the rear ACE Bar but I haven’t had any issues with it so far… (Touch wood…! Smile)
The vehicle has about 130,000 Miles.

I am keen to keep the vehicle as I just love it. It’s used as a weekends car and once a year we drive with the family to Spain and back.

I have brought the car to a Range Rover specialist in Kent recommended by a good friend of mine that is mechanic.
They advised that some of the parts to replace the rear ACE bar are back ordered from Range Rover without an ETA… Therefore they said that once the rear ACE bar goes, that gets vehicles
out of the road unfortunately…
They also advised that pipes are highly corroded and they were unsure if new pipes will easily go in… They also mentioned that as per their previous experience Valve block might also have to be replace and if you got that far and half of the car it’s dismantled you might as well check front ACE bar and pipes and replace them at the same time… So the job gets bigger and bigger…

The car also was diagnosed with the below issues on it’s last health check carried out by the same Range Rover Specialist on December 2024 which I am also keen to get resolved apart from the AC leak which I think I could live without it in the UK.

Drive Shaft Boots (CV, if Required)
NSF outer cv boot split- we may not be able to release the driveshaft from the hub and this repair could end needing complete driveshafts and hubs

Suspension (damage/Leaks/etc)
OSF Drop link boot split

Rear ACE bar is leaking and pipes are very corroded pipes- they may not release from the bar itself and then would require replacement and valve blocks-
However if more work is needed we cannot get the parts as they are back ordered

Front anti roll bar bushes have some play in- suspect noise from right hand side as no play in any wheel bearings-

Misc
Propshaft bearing is split

Would recommend a deglaze and clean up for the brake pads squeaking as plenty left on them- hard to tell what brand they are however as its worn off- so could be a cheaper material and clean up may not be long term

No undertrays were on the vehicle- just a note

Engine
Vacuum valve on the front of engine is leaking oil quite heavily

I am looking for some advice/directions/help to try and resolve this issue please…

I am London based but I do not mind to travel.

Thank you,

Jordi[/quote]

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Not tried these myself, but I've heard of a few people swapping the pipes for flexible pipes.

Maybe someone who has tried them can comment L320 Range Rover Sport 2008
