Hi all,

After adding the removable tow bar, genuine towing electrics and enabling via the trusty GAP G4 I discovered all the caravan lights worked with the exception of the brake lights. On checking for registered faults, an earth fault on the brake circuit was highlighted however there appeared to be nothing wrong with the caravan. After a little head scratching it transpired my Bailey van has x4 brake bulbs in parallel and this was presenting a very low resistance to earth when the voltage was initially applied and the car then disabled the output - hence no brake lights. Removal of one bulb has solved the issue and I'm now going to try replacing x2 of the high level ones with LEDs.
