18 svr lane assist

Hi all
A new owner to an SVR, have the lane assist,or what i assume a lane assist button on the steering wheel, when its lit up it shows on the dashboard the red lines when i drive over the lines.Should the steering/wheel gently steer back over ?, mine doesn't, just seems a visual thing on the dash.Is there a setting to turn the auto steer on/off ?.

Also while i'm on Smile , the steering feels a lot stiffer then my 06 supercharged, also seems to easily follow ruts in road, almost like i'm gently fighting the wheel, is this normal ? have 295 tyres on it.

Hi,

There are two parts to this “driver assistance”.

1. Lane departure warning - a colour change on the dash to indicate where you are in the lane.

2. Lane keep assist - selectable as steering help or steering shake.

The thing to do is RTFM under “Driving Aids” for the details! Very Happy
