Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience using SLR in Haslemere? Their labour rates seem very "competitive".

I wondered if they were too good to be true? Cheers,

I have also used Glenrands in the past and found them to be good. But, and for me its a big but, when I had issues with my front ACE pipes as they were being manufactured with "purest unobtainium" they were not helpful. So, for general stuff, yes they were good. When the going got tough, the car being unusable, I wasn't happy and they were not willing to be truly helpful.

Here's the crazy part, I managed to leverage my long term relationship with my LR Approved dealer, Harwoods, to do the work, at a competitive price to Glenrands with genuine parts I managed to get from JLR Classic Parts. I had to put in some leg work to get the parts and make it happen but, this was better than letting the car rot in the Glenrands yard.

When things go wrong, I need help not excuses. That's why I'm not likely to go back to them and looking for others. Next up is control arms and bushes........... where to go......... Cheers,
