Auto start stop problem on my rrs p400e

Hello everyone I am new to the forum. I have a rrs p400e since 2019 with 190k km’s, so far with zero issues except a distribution chain that got replaced in warranty. But recently I am having the following issue:

I wanted to keep my engine running while idle but it keeps shutting off (auto start stop function). When I click the start stop button on the touchscreen to deactivate it, it automatically switches off and shuts down the engine as the auto start stop usually does. This happens when idling, when reversing at a very low speed (motor just shuts off and turns back on when I press the pedal harder) and when in Drive at a very very slow speed. When this happens it feels like the car wants to switch to the EV mode but toggles the auto start stop instead.. Is this normal? I can’t remember if this ever happened before but I don’t think it did.

QRD:
1: I press auto start stop to stop car from shutting down
2: function activates (button turn coloured)
3: car immediately deactivates the function (button goes to inactive colour)
4: car shuts down motor when idle or reversing/driving at low speed
5: car starts again when pressing the pedal
6: this doesn’t happen all the time, sometimes the button works fine and the car does not shut down

Anyone here knows what could be wrong? The ecu?
Thanks in advance

Might be worth taking the car to a garage and having any fault codes read with a diagnostic tool. 2021 P400e Autobiography
