The basic charger works fine, do you have a cheap overnight tariff such as Octopus?

We got a HyperVolt charger and it has been faultless. Only about £650 installed iirc |

I've been considering the same, but my garage is a fair distance from the main fusebox (separate from the house), so with the cabling work involved, not worth it. You can only benefit from off-peak savings if you have a fast charger installed and the sums just don't add up for my usage.

Another question, I take it there is a separate battery for the internal combustion engine (or not??) & if the car is sitting for a while you can connect a Ctek to this battery to keep it charged up or does the plug in charger also feed this battery. I believe there is a smaller than normal 12 volt battery to drive the instruments, lights, etc. 2026 P460e Autobiography on order

The plug in charger feeds the main battery and that charges the 12v battery. No need for a CTEK on that if you are regularly charging the car. |
