Estonia 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Santorini Black
Airbag control module part number

I have a red indicator of an airbag fault and the local mechanic narrowed it down to the airbag control module.

Since the part is burried under the center console, it would be a huge help to find the part number before hand. I have found some on ebay listings for around 20 euros or so but I am unsure if they are the correct one for my car.

I tried contacting an offical land rover service center, but they quoted me 1050 euro for it and refused to tell me the part number.

Is there perhaps a site or tool to help find what exact part I need?

I have a RR Sport 2006 L320

If you have a Gap IID tool, it would be able to interrogate it and it will show the engineering part number, you could then use this to source a secondhand one as most people list items for sale by the engineering part number as opposed to the actual LR part number.

I don't have one, but do you think I should get one for future troubleshooting? I'm a fairly fresh RR owner so I am open to suggiestions and basic advice!

I have Landrovers SDD software and interface, but it's subscription and very expensive. IID's often come up around the £300-£350 range secondhand and always sell quickly. I also have one and use it daily as its much more user friendly and quicker to use. Some people use Autel devices, but the IID seems the go to tool. Do some research and see what suits you and your budget.
