Maybe they only work when it’s in sport mode.

You maybe able to change it on the dash to always work

From the manual:

Try shifting the gear selector to the left ("S" position) and then use the paddles. Whether the paddles work or not in "D" mode is an option selected via the Vehicle Settings menu.

Never use them, but if I remember right on my L320 the paddle shift works in both the "D" and "S" mode, don't recall seeing anything in the vehicle settings menu to switch them on or off either or in the CCF for that matter. I do however have the S/C with the stick shift if that makes any difference.

Cheers
Col

The settings are for the L494. My old L322 had paddles and they worked in sport and drive modes. 2021 P400e Autobiography
