Well you cannot drill and tap the boot floor as its only thin steel sheet. they would expect bolts and washers . You will still need to get underneath to be sure you are not drilling into something vital or the spare tyre.!!! Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

I've used these a lot, but I would not trust them for taking much load, especially through thin material. |
