Getting EPB into Mounting position (SDD or manually)

Gents, I'm hoping to replace my rear discs, pads and shoes this weekend. It's a new(to me) L320 2005 and I knew there was an issue with the EPB when I bought it but wasn't sure of the cause. I could do with a bit of help please. I've read the guide which is extremely helpful.

I know it needs at least a relatch but unsure of the state of the EPB in terms of jamming. I've deliberately left it alone until I can take it all apart and get eyes on.

My RHS cable is not attached to the shoe and is short at the hub end. I have SDD 162 and I can find the unjam procedure but not a way to simply put it into mount position. Does anyone know if I can do this from the software please? I was hoping to get the lid off the module over the weekend so if I can't get it into mount mode from the software can I do it manually in the module?

I presume if I wind the brass rod all the way to the LHS this will give me some slack at the hub?

TIA

Ok so sorry to reply to my own post but the first suggestion isn’t an option. I managed to wangle an early day and have unjammed the epb manually and I’ve got plenty of length on the cable now.

Still working my way through this and just discovered LR time on YouTube. I thought you meant “on Land Rover’s time”😂. Thanks for the heads up it was me being dim that missed it.
