I need to replace my winch but the one I am looking at on eBay tells me that it is not compatible with my TDV8. The winch, it says, is suitable for around 200 variants of the Range Rover Sport from 2006 up to the present day - but not mine!" I can't see that Land Rover would be so obscure as to design a winch that fits 95% of cars but design a separate and different version for the TDV8. Can anyone help with confirming that they are all the same? Robin

I was under the impression that the winch is the same for all RRS and D3/D4 models. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The part number for the winch has changed numerous times, the latest one being LR064520 which according to L/R fits all versions of the L320 2005-2013.

I really wouldn't take to much notice of what some of the supplier's say on fleabay.
