If someone wants a fast RRS, they can get an original SVR for less than £35k with c40k miles on the clock. Plenty of ver. 1 and ver. 2 SVRs around - there are currently 50 on Autotrader for less than £40k. That's £140k less than the new SV.
£140k to get to the national speed limit 1 second quicker. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
