MY24 Updates - anyone hearing anything ?

Looks like my build slot will be late July 2023 - my dealer says no changes for MY24 but wanted to check with this group what people are hearing from their respective dealers.

I know things are very different these days for any changes to be made since not many cars being built.

If I look back at my L494, it was a sept 2015 build, classified as MY16 and had the updates to make it ULEZ compliant - I was lucky....

Thanks in advance

I had a call today to say that my P510e order has to have a new order form as that model has been replaced with a P550e.But no loss of place in queue(!). Still no idea of lead time.

Changes in MY24 can be found on the multimedia Land Rover site: https://media.landrover.com/news/2023/05/n...e-flagship
You need to scroll down after the SV description to see what are the changes to the MY24 RRS.

Main changes are P440e becoming P460e and P510e becoming P550e with increased power in the electric mode.
Other changes in the interior is the removal of all the knobs and buttons in the center console (HVAC, Terrain response, EV, ...) same as in the FFRR and integration of the new generation of Pivi Pro.

My new order form says 27/9/24 for 'estimated handover' so that's about 18 months from order date.

But I won't be making any plans around that!

Why does anyone want to wait 18 months for a car. These delivery times are a disgrace. The headlines from JLR about new models and revamped dealer network seem crazy when they are unable to deliver their products.

Tim Tim
RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

To be fair, I'm not actually that bothered: my current cars are fine for another 12 months and if there's a supply squeeze it's good for residuals!

I've just cancelled a Lotus Eletre order, as delivery on that has been pushed back for my order: some are arriving in July apparently but mine had no visibility despite me reserving it on day 1 and speccing it as the order system went live). With the RRS coming forward and the Eletre going back it didn't make sense to keep both alive.
