4.2 SC coolant leak advice

Hi all

I’ve some form of coolant leak - had the message appear twice and the expansion tank was low. Each occasion it only took about 1L ish to top it back up and the code cleared.

Once topped up it appears to stay fine for a few days and can do short trips okay and gets up to temp fine.

I am going to try and locate the leak this weekend but wanted to ask any advice for tell tale signs on where to look first / look out for / or any tests I can do?

I’ve read the expansion tank fails but seems to be holding coolant at least to some degree? Maybe it’s a pinhole leak perhaps.

Any advice would be much appreciated Smile

Cheers
