New software update for infotainment

This is the first one in about a year - anyone know what it does?

Don’t know what it does - cannot see that anything new? I however know what it doesn’t do - the touchscreens are still as laggy as ever and the nav system comes up with some truly asinine routing.

There is a lot to like about my MY21.5 RRS over the preceding X5, but the infotainment system is not one of those things. MY21.5 HSE 221KW D16
Gone:
F15 30D X5
E70 30D X5
E53 30D X5
Jeep Grande Cherokee v8

Also have an available update on my MY17, accepted the notification three times but, still hasn’t installed yet so, no idea what if anything has changed.

Has asked me five times so far if i want to update and i've clicked yes every single time. I thought you just let it crack on but it's obviously not working.

Mine finally completed after the third time, I assume it must have been an issue with a consistent and long enough opportunity to connect and download the full file

Well I have an active SIM but it’s limited to 200mb per month for traffic etc use only so, I would assume that’s it’s completed it over WIFI unless it’s a tiny update size?

All done. As i didn't have the sim anymore it was probably just stopping every time I left the area of the home wifi. Bit annoying that it doesnt show you any sort of progress bar, so you're just hoping it's doing something.

It started on the 'downloading' then changed to 'installing' after about 20 mins or so. Then another 10-15 min to install. Then said something like 'new software ready, will finish when you shut your car off'.
