Keyless entry disable not working

Newbie 2019 RRS owner. Have tried multiple times to use the '3 x key fob headlight button, 1 x press unlock button' within the time constraint, and inside the vehicle but it steadfastly refuses to turn off keyless entry. Is there a way to disable it via the dashboard screens, menus and buttons please?

To get the procedure to work on my 2014, after numerous failed attempts, I found that sitting down vigorously on the seat was effective. Don't ask me why!

As I recollect, wasn't it a requirement to stand outside the vehicle with the drivers door open to carry out this procedure?

Certainly the case for my 2020 P400e P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

have a look at the powerfuluk video on how to do it....sometimes it takes a few try's for it to work...
