Another test drive feedback D350


Had the car for 24 hours....some pointers (similar to others who've already shared so apologies for repeating):

* Car is nimble and sprightly - can feel the girth when going around bends but didn't put into dynamic mode to stiffen the suspension
* Wind noise from both front A-pillars at c50mph
* Per pic, poor fit on fuel filler flap
* refinement is unbeliievable
* Exhaust note also has a sporty rort
* fit and finish impecable (apart from fuel filler flap) - great paint quality; no cabin rattles
* Car had 23" alloys -ride was slightly stiffer than normal - I'd be happy with my standard AB spec 22"

Always good to get some more feedback.

You did well to get 24 hours - I was only allowed half an hour! Which dealership did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

Perhaps the all black rear view is the part that convinces me less than the car.

Take your point regarding the rear look .
Personally I think the dark colour hides the poor rear look but white and light colours seems to make it worse .
Any other thoughts ??

It seems to be LR's signature "fat ar5e" look, sadly. At least, unlike the D5, the number plate is in a proper location and the rear looks balanced. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi - Beadles (now called Group 1) Watford - decent dealership. my wifes MY16 was in for £5k of warranty work so doubled up as a courtesy car, early in the week, low demand for demos, etc

Hi - only demo dealer has - Santorini but they also have another diesel in Varesine shortly coming into their demo fleet. MY23, 3.0 P440e PHEV AB, Carparthian Grey, Deep Garnett interior

Thanks for confirming, that’s the model I have on order. I have been told it’s a November build and delivery early December for my car, very pleased if they can keep to that.

Out of interest did you notice if it had a downgraded sound system at all? Seems to be common noise that the higher spec cars might be coming with cheaper sound systems

Hi - the sound system sounded worse than the Meridian in my wife's current MY16....it must have been downgraded. When I went into the settings, all it had was 3 choices - standard, Meridian, Meridian 3D - although I really couldn't hear the improvements in the 3D setting.

I’ll have to cross my fingers for mine then, although if the meridian 3D option is in the settings then sounds a bit more positive. When are you expecting your car?
