Just had the Turbo Drain Modification highlighted on a service as not being done.
Anybody know what that is and if it needs doing? 2009 RRS 3.0 TDV6 SP HSE

I had mine done, it cured the excessive blue smoke on hard acceleration straight away.

I did mine a little while ago, I have ACE and it’s not nearly as easy as they make it look. Without ACE it is a pretty easy job since you have more space and access.

The part about the blue smoke doesn’t necessarily apply to Euro5 versions with DPFs. Mine didn’t smoke, but the old drain pipe was completely full of oil when I removed it. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory
