Whilst talking to a salesman at LR, he explained that people who hold a disabled badge and add the disability aids to their cars.... can claim the VAT back. Then there is no time scale of when you can then sell that car.
He said they are currently averaging 2-3 a month who are purely ordering TDV8's to then sell at a handsome profit.
The dealer has even bought one back and is selling at list price, pre owned with 150miles.
Sounds like a nice loophole mr Brown has overlooked if your unfortunate enough to be in that position!
Anybody else heard of this?
I guess there arn't many cars that you can buy, register, do 150 miles then re-sell at list price, whilst making a near 10k profit. I noticed a TDV6 in the 'selling' section with only delivery miles..... i wonder! 2010 Discovery 4
