So looked at various and many threads on EPB faults.

The battery is good . Its showing over 12.30 and 14v engine running.

That's low, a fully charged battery should 12.7 or above. 2026 P460e Autobiography on order

Ok I'll check this , but I haverun the car back and forth with it showing 14v and above and its not doing much difference for brake function. |

Testing wires with engine running and showing 14v at the dash with GAP IId connected. The wires on the park sw. plug connected are Y 6.33v, YB 10.95v , YG 6.47v, and Red 5.5mv. Earth black 0.0 ohms.

Well a quick search on disco3 for that fault code U2002-01 suggests you need a new dash park brake switch !

I reckon the previous voltages are from a can bus so will be lower.

Aha , seems that the red wire I found earlier was on MV.,(see earlier thread) was the culprit , it was the only one showing open circuit. Spotted a white spot further off the plug about 5 inches from the plug and yes corrosion, soldered and reconnected, hand brake working ......Get On ! Ordered some heat shrink to protect the joint and bingo , fingers crossed. |
