| NoExpert Member Since: 28 Jan 2022 Location: Poznań, Poland Posts: 522      | I’ve changed a few wheel bearings and there’s a couple steps missing in that guide. They make it sound like the wheel bearing is now just going to hop off the car and go merrily on its way. I have never had a wheel bearing just come off unless it was a new one I just installed. I usually have to put longer bolts in and beat the snot out of them to get the bearing to budge. I also use a curved piece of steel plate over the CV boot to protect it.
