Just had an email from the dealer to say my order is now confirmed, 1 year and 2 days after placing it. I've still got the price protection and believe it will be MY24. No idea how long from this point though so not getting too excited.

Interesting to hear yours is also price protected - did they give any reason why JLR had protected it? I’ve been told the opposite and I’m waiting immently for my build slot, so i could argue my dealer is being inconsistent with what others are getting.

Yes, I went for AB, no info on the protection just that it was still OK.

I have been told that because mine was also only "Confirmed" today, despite it being on order since mid May last year, that I was only being offered by JLR part support( a very small part !) . Is this correct, or am I being played here ? Was yours previously confirmed, or only just today as well ? The dealer told me I had price protection and now says its only limited !

Just been told it’s moved to a MY24 P460, with a confirmed Maridian Signature sound system “That’s good news the dealer proclaimed” before dropping the 5K price increase (as I don’t have a confined order) and even better news “They hope I would get it this year”. It definitely won’t be Signature I’m afraid. It will be 3D. Signature is only available on SV.

O. Not too sure then. Dealer said something like “ You still getting the better something stereo” as I ordered back in May. New orders will be getting the “lesser stereo”. Not sure of how many systems there are out there? Just be nice to even get the car. Don’t mind if it’s got an 8 track 😁😁

I've finally got a build slot for a p560e AB (was supposed to be a FE). But despite being told I had price protection, I'm surprised how little that actually is!

Mine was fully price protected, but despite having only just taking delivery I did get a build slot allocated just before the big price jump in April. This might have helped in my case.
